It has been a long time since I have written about book/s or novels that I have read/ or have been reading. Few weeks ago, my friend and I went to check the local Flea Market here in Dubai and it was unbelievable, prices of second hand books in a very very good condition for as low as 0.2$ to 1.4$ each book.
Few books that I have read on my free time are:
Fallen By Lauren Kate: The book is a romantic-thrilling fantasy. I can’t put down the book when I started reading it. I have watched the movie of the same title released last December 2016 but they made a lot of changes to it. I appreciate the actors/actresses, the setting and acting. Jeremy Irvine fits to be Daniel Grigori and Addison Timlin as Lucinda Price. Can’t wait for the sequel , if there will be. Will be reading the rest of the book series. Series are as follows: Torment, Passion , Fallen in Love , Rapture and Unforgiven.
Hush, Hush by Becca FitzPatrick: This is another Angel-Human love story which is more mysterious, suspense and absolutely romantic with a twist. Series are: Crescendo, Silence, Finale. I hope they will turn these books into a film series.
The Road Less Travelled by M. Scott Peck: This is all about our lives, our character, our behavior, our attitude towards things and situations around us, towards other people, in work and what our outlook in life. You will learn a lot of human-nature here. This is a Self-development book.
The Winter Ghosts by Kate Mosse: Another mysterious travel time masterpiece. Nice to be transported to the old villages of France. A story about mourning, loss of love ones , hope, World War, religion, beliefs and spirits that lingers beyond time.
Thanks for the Memories by Cecelia Ahern. This is another love story from Cecilia Ahern. The author of the best selling novel P.S I Love You that has been adopted into a movie of the same title staring Gerard Butler and Hilary Swank. Thank you for the memories is all about marriage, family, relationship, new beginnings, and how our lives mysteriously intertwined with the lives of others.
Under A Blood Red Sky by Kate Furnivall: A story about life and death, survival during the Soviet crisis, love, commitment, honour, a promise, a friendship beyond time. This is my first book of Kate Furnivall, the author of the best selling novel The Russian Concubine.
Would love to hear from you any great books to read.
